Tutorials
Web development of any level can be a fun hobby and makes a very interesting career as there are many areas to specialise in, whether you’re artistic or have an uncontrollable urge to be neck deep in code there’s something for you :)
From when I first started out web development I have learnt everything I know from reading tutorials and participating in forum discussions (something I highly recommend). When learning I found that tutorials are scattered everywhere throughout the internet, and it’s a hell of a big place, as different developers writing the tutorials have different coding styles and methods it can be hard to move from one site to another without having to try to fill in the blanks yourself. These problems can make it hard to learn consistently as a lot of important information is simply missed out. My aim here is to provide a set of tutorials that are consistent and will warn you about the many pitfalls (Internet Explorer being responsible for most of them).
